Opening Camp 2016 – Club Morgan

Opening Camp 2016 was a great start to the year for the AUMC! The trip was very well attended with about 31 people escaping the Clipsal 500 and the heat in Adelaide for swimming, late night kayaking, and camp-firing. We set up ropes on Resurrection, Sheoak Corner, Asgard, and a few others and enjoyed the morning sunshine. A huge thanks to everyone who helped out with transport, setting up and packing […]

Introductory indoor climbing

We had a great turnout for our ‘come and try’ indoor climbing events! About 20 AUMC members came to the gym over two nights – for some it was their first taste of climbing, while others were grizzled veterans.

Mount Lofty evening walk

The promise of an evening walk up Mt. Lofty saw 25 club members converging on Waterfall Gully – most by car, but a few hardy souls rose to the challenge of the extra 3.6 KM from the bus stop on Glynburn Road.
