What a top day for a climb!
We had a great turnout for our ‘come and try’ indoor climbing events! About 20 AUMC members came to the gym over two nights – for some it was their first taste of climbing, while others were grizzled veterans.
The promise of an evening walk up Mt. Lofty saw 25 club members converging on Waterfall Gully – most by car, but a few hardy souls rose to the challenge of the extra 3.6 KM from the bus stop on Glynburn Road.

Ignoring the 60% chance of rain that had been forecast and braving extreme traffic, six of us set off from Waterfall Gully at about 6:15pm and made the summit in what seemed like no time at all.
The first trial for this trip failed due to constant rains, there were about 13 people interested and for the second trial just three of us were still interested.
