The promise of an evening walk up Mt. Lofty saw 25 club members converging on Waterfall Gully – most by car, but a few hardy souls rose to the challenge of the extra 3.6 KM from the bus stop on Glynburn Road.
We summited at sunset, unfortunately finding the restaurant closed, and gathered for a group photo (which I don’t have a copy of). The group then split into two for the descent – the direct route, and the adventure route. It was pitch dark by the time we reached the cars, so a torch (or ‘flashlight’) and a jacket are definitely recommended.
