Belair National Park
This Monday 1/4/19, we’ll be heading up to Belair National Park (Australia’s second oldest national park!) for another evening bushwalk. This one has a couple of shorter steep sections but is still somewhat easier than the Mt Lofty walk. It’s a picturesque location and a good place to spot native wildlife such as Kangaroos, Emus and Koalas.
We’ll be meeting at the Belair Raliway Station (next to Sheoak Rd) at 6:25. There’s a train leaving the Adelaide Railway Station at 5:45 – if you catch the Belair train (last station on the line, if you’re not familiar with Adelaide Railway Station then try and get there 5-10 minutes early so you don’t miss it) then you’ll get to Belair Station at the correct meeting time, or you can make your own way there by car etc. There’s trains every half an hour going back to the city to get you home or you might be able to get a lift with someone.
Bring a torch if you have one handy, and a jumper or a jacket because it’s likely to be quite cool up there after sunset.
Please text or call me on 0402582677 if you have any questions.
