Second Valley Jetty

Organiser: Andreas
Meet At: Second Valley Jetty

Let’s take advantage of this heat and have a play out at backslappers cove. Deep water soloing is climbing above water and using it to provide a soft landing when you fall. You don’t have to swim far but you do need to be a confident swimmer to get the most out of this trip. The rock caters for most climbing abilities and it is a popular spot even among non-climbers.

All you’ll need is reasonable walking shoes, climbing shoes (if you want to borrow club shoes please collect them yourself from vrc and take the older velcro ones), bathers, a towel, water, sun protection and snacks.

We’ll meet at the second valley jetty at 4pm and walk round together from there. Please message me on 0435759715 if you are running late on the day so we know to wait for you.
