Meet At: Cloisters
Climbers attending the Arapalies trip later in the month will have priority for this trip.
This event is primarily to build some basic familiarity with trad climbing for newer climbers attending the Arapalies trip later in the month. This event is also for more experienced trad climbers looking for a quick refresher or help out with the teaching. We will be meeting at the cloisters at 12 pm so should be at the cliff by 12:45 then will stay most of the afternoon so make sure to bring plenty of water, sun protection, and food for lunch plus snacks. Also bring warm clothes in case the temperature drops later in the day.
When registering for this event, please indicate whether you have your own harness and climbing shoes, or will need to borrow club equipment. Also indicate if you have your own transport, whether you have room to give other people a lift, or you require transport. For those requiring transport, you can meet at the Adelaide University cloisters at 12pm. The climbing area is located within Morialta Conservation park, but is accessed from Norton Summit road, rather than the main conservation park carpark.
This event is fully booked.
