Meet At: Cloisters
This is a climbing day trip to Second Valley where we will be doing deep water soloing, cliff jumping and (maybe) snorkelling. Deep water solo is a type of climbing without any ropes and using a body of water such as the ocean to cushion your falls.
This event is suitable for experienced rock climbers, and climbers who want to experience the thrill of climbing without ropes and jumping into the ocean anywhere from 5m to 15m above the water. To participate, you should have at least some previous climbing experience.
We will meet at the cloisters at 9am and carpool from there. The drive there will take about 90 minutes.
Please let me know when you register whether you have a car and can take passengers or if you need transport. Also indicate if you have your own climbing shoes/snorkel gear or will need to borrow club equipment.
On the day, please bring plenty of water, sun protection, and food for lunch plus snacks. Also bring an extra set of dry clothes and a pair of thongs/slip on shoes.
If you have any questions please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org Also, transport will be pending finding enough cars for the trip.
This event is fully booked.
